The Killer
Epilogue:The Man in Black is never seen, he's silent and always does his work at night. He was insane so he thought killing people would make him normal. He was born in Russia and in the town of Moscow.
The story:
The Man in black pulled out a dagger and jabbed the young Maiden in the chest. Then when he pulled out the dagger the gooey blood came gushing out. A guard in the room below felt the blood dripping on his neck from a crack in the floor. so he ran up stairs to find the young Maiden dead.... But the Man in black was gone.
So the guard sent out a group to look for the killer. The Man in black knew the guard would send a group out so he got the natives of the area to sit in trees and attack them . They all died by arrows except one who ran back to the castle. The guy who made it back told the guard that all the others were dead. So then the guard put a couple thousand wanted posters up to catch the Man in black. After he did this millions of people went out to try to catch the Man in black .
When the Man in black heard about this he got the Indians again and they dug trenches to hide in and jump out of. They put logs on top all of the trenches but the first one. As they walked towards the trenches half the towns people hit the ground with an arrow in their chest. So then the next line of towns people brought up their rifles and eighty more of the towns people hit the ground. Then one by one the rest hit the ground with blood gushing out filling the trenches.
As all of the bloody raids continued only of the men survived the forest attacks. He went to the castle and grabbed his bow. There he sat for two days waiting for the Man in Black so he could shoot him. To his satisfaction the Man in Black was at the castle the morning of the second day. The archer waited to avenge his maidens death. With an arrow to the leg the Man in Black was caught and finally they hung the Man in Black.

Wow - that story was filled with suspense that made me want to find out more about what happened to the man in black.
The epilogue created mystery for the Man in Black with the description "...he is never seen".
What was your inspiration for this short-story?
Mr Fines
There was a poster of people fighting in my dads classroom that started me thinking.
Thanks for comments.

It's great to use things that you see to help you write stories. I try to teach my kindergarteners to do the same thing. Maybe I'll put up some kid posters around our room and see if my students can write a story about one of them.
Thanks for the great idea!
